"Moscow activist Ildar Dadin has been sentenced to three years in prison for his peaceful one-person pickets in support of Ukraine and political prisoners. You won't be arrested like Ildar Dadin if you picket in his support in another country. So please join us on February 7, by the Russian Consulate in New York. Tell Putin to release Ildar Dadin and all his other hostages!"
Please join us in a rally in New York to demand freedom for Ildar Dadin, who is serving 3 years of penal colony in Russia for one person, peaceful anti-war pickets.
We ask the Ukrainian community to spread the word about Ildar Dadin, the way we have been talking about Nadiya Savchenko. Some of Ildar's first words that he said after his sentence was announced were: "Glory to Ukraine, Glory to Heroes, Glory to Free-Thinking Russians".
Many times former political prisoners had said that the only reason they were let out early or didn't get beaten and injured in Russian prison was that the national or international community was watching their case. Let's help save Ildar's life and future by showing support for him by making posts and tweets about him as well as coming to rallies in his support.
